There is so much I can say about David, where does one begin. I know, when we first moved to Rock Road, I was only 11 and my brother was 6. I remember very clearly David stopping to introduce himself to us as our new neighbour. His welcoming smile and positive attitude has always been the root cause of why we have been so drawn to him for the past 16 years. There was never a day that David would not be smiling, he simply made my day each time. Call me biased but, David has and always will be my most treasured neighbour. Coming from a muslim home we have always been open to taking part and showing our respect to all faiths, with this said each year without fail David and his mother would give us chocolates a week before Christmas, there was not a single year that they missed out. I guess for David and Margaret we were always children, although we are now 26 and 20. It was simply such a loving and kind gesture. I personally would wait for my chocolates because I new they were on their way. A loved memory that I will always cherish. We are deeply saddened by the loss for the family, we have all lost a beautiful, kind hearted and high spirited soul. An individual that can not be replaced. We hope only time heals the loved ones and that they hold onto all the beautiful memories that David has left behind. May God guide David through heaven where he is resting in peace and harmony. From all at 24 Rock Road (Mohammed, Yasmin, Nafisah and Habib) xx
